New Photos !!

Hello,

I took some free time yesterday evening. Walked over to a bridge near by and started taking photos. Loads of them. Some I am very happy about some am not. I think still need to work a lot on landscaping, getting the correct composition.

All photos clicked using the basic modes of the Camera. I still am not sure if I am ready to use the P, Av or M modes. :( Still find it confusing.

This time I got a lot of noise when using Landscape mode I don't know why.

Here are some of the ones which I like.
I don't know how this came :|. I used a landscape mode and nothing else. It was color. But I actually love this. Anyone on how did it come as close to b/w.

I don't know why but I like this photo a lot

Flowersss

Also, there is a lot of noise can anyone help me with it.

Hope you like the Photographs.

Regarding the noise, do you know what ISO setting it was on? You should be able to tell from the EXIF actually (though I couldn't from that jpg)

Don't worry about not knowing that to do with the manual(ish) modes, jump in there. Personally I use the shutter priority one (though I have been using a canon for years I can't remember what its called, not Av - the other one).

Then just usually use exposure compensation +/- depending on the shot. I find thats the easiest. Also about the ISO, keep it as low as possible, but then change it up higher when you neeed to.

@ simon - TV?

Nice pictures. I love the flower pictures, and the crowd shot has something pleasing.
I didn't notice too much noise.

Hey,

Mrgrotey - ;) Thanks..My favorite.

Revees - Thanks man. I have seen the data from windows explorer. It's not that visible in this resolution, when we see the high resolution it is visible specially in the landscapes not the macros and close shots. I am trying working on the P, Tv, A modes.

Nik - Cheers :)

Steve - yeay

Here's another Sunset

Here's a fun photo.

This time I used the Av mode for the first time.

Here are the settings,

Shutter speed - 1/5 second.

Lens Aperture - f/3.5

ISO - 400

What do you think.

I like it. I like all your pictures. You make me hate the pictures I take!

Perhaps a little more sharpness would be nice, to give a focal point to the picture though.
