Usual place. link in my sig.

Features :

* new experimental UI. check out the favourites menu :)

* shadow mapping - wip - currently hardwired to enable on the first spotlight in the scene - will refine this in subsequent builds to apply to all light types & to be configurable. currently only active in the demo travel zone online (accessible from our online 3d site)

* new max text texture type plugin to enable infinity UI text to defined & configured. the text doesn't display in max yet, you can just configure it there. example configurable max UI scene files to follow to enable custom UIs to be created.

* text rendering upgrade as requested. should be a lot clearer now.

* max 2014 compatible.

* various other tweaks & refinements. enjoy. still plenty to do but making good progress.

Can you list what ISN'T there yet, but will be? The main reason I feel less compelled to install it again is because I know in a couple of weeks/months I'll have to do it again, and again to give it a fair shot.

This may seem stupid and picky to you, but as a potential user, it's valid. Actually, is there a way to have it auto update, like firefox does? Apologies if it already does that, haven't checked.

everything you need from a 3D web browser will be there at some stage.
it's a matter of prioritizing.

no auto update yet, just install new build over the top of the last one.
everything should evolve seamlessly.

Why do I ask? Because if the next update has features I'm not interested in, then why wait to get the next iteration?

totally up to you. I'm your bitch.

what do you want next ?

better scripting
better shadows
multi user
opengl/linux port
better particles

... etc.

can only do one thing at a time whilst it's just me so figure out your top priority issue & I'll do that next if it sounds realistic within the constraints of mainstream consumer computing.

last time you guys asked for shadows & better text so have done that as well as a bunch of internal stuff I won't bore you with.

Be nice to see some examples of new features in action - ie even just a couple of screengrabs that incliude shadow-mapped shadows / better text aa / updated UI for example..

Also gives more impetus for us to critique and suggest things.

sure. taking it for a spin today has highlighted a couple of high priority issues that need fixing asap so doing that first. it's not production ready yet which is frustrating. on that tomorrow. then back in roll out mode as it comes together. getting there.

installing now. Wouldn't mind trying out a little scene on my website if I get time. Looking forward to seeing how quickly things load as I know some of your competing technologies are a fucking nightmare in regards to loading times.

thanks for the bug report jareu.

working on a webpage renderer upgrade at the moment as the current implementation is below production quality. when that's sorted, I'll come back to this if it's still an issue.

guessing you have a fairly high spec radeon + plenty of main & video memory & are running latest drivers so probably a browser bug.

there's a log file that'll help track down the cause of the crash. details to follow.

the current infinity build is not ready for production use. working on addressing its shortcomings. please stand by. thanks for your interest.

stuff loads fast if you stick to j2k textures, make use of mono j2ks where possible (one third the size), use mp4s for animated textures, instance or xref geometry, etc.
