| My sketch thread ....sort of. |
Apocalypse Head |
Hey everyone! figured id start a skeththread, and see how my work progresses. Most of this stuff is recent, except for the Akuma looking dude who was done a while ago (and mostly in Zbrush). The rest is all Photoshop.
I have alot of other work which i havnt bothered showing so far (really old), il be putting those up later. Till then, enjoy!

ps: one of these is in hommage to Zandernice :)

apoc_ i like your stuff so far. the first and the fourth have a nice painterly quality to them, although maybe a little washed out. could just be the crappy screen on my laptop. the one i like the most is the third image. it's a cool concept and it's pretty well executed. keep them coming. me likes.

apoc- i like this guy. are you gonna colorize him or leave him b & w. it would be kind of cool to do a duotone type coloring of him if you are. also it would stengthen the character to maybe give him a smirk or sneer or even a toothpick coming out of the side of his mouth. i also really like the last guy on your previous post. it' got a nice feel to it. the second image is pretty stong too. keep up the posts man. i like seeing your drawings on here.

Ubik : thanks dude! im thinking of leaving him black and white...tried the duotone approach, but didnt really work mostly cause of how much black/shadow there is in this... thats a good idea, something sticking out of his mouth...il work on it. Glad u like my work :) Il post some more later on :)

Update! Gave him a blunt, and a partial duo-tone...also, flipped horizontaly..somehow flows better this way. Again, thank you Ubik, for the ideas :)
