trying to keep up with dd as we set similar goals for 2008
my goal: try to get some drawings/paintings done each week, post them here and hopefully we'll see a steady progress in skill as the new year progresses.

Man i really like the self portrait... is this some sort of European style of drawing? ...kinda reminds me of Zander nice not saying you copied him but i would love to learn more about this kind of line work strokes and that sort of thing

lol, you're funny. No it's not some kind of european style, it's just my messy uncontrolled chaotic style of messing about with the wacom. Second, how can this be both a European style thing and a copy of Zanders work, he's Amarican ?? I like Zandernices work, sure, he's a far more skilled artist then I am but I don't really see enough of his stuff for there to be any sort of link between my work and his.
edit
VKotek: sure there is. Look at european comic books (mostly from france) and amarican style comics. It's a world appart. (they don't know what they miss :)

I'm sorry, Setherial you are very talented i think, I just noticed a similarity
and yes there are different styles in art according to region ..i don't feel i need to explain much more than that because it's obviuos
