My film so far
show user profile  AntiCitizen
Ok i said a while ago that i was directing a short cgi film well heres some of the model's so far that have been modelled by members of my production team. This weekend a test animation will be done which i will then do the camera animating and rendering to make a little preview just to get an idea of how the action is going to turn out in this film.
So far i've got a production team of 4 people possibly 5 soon.
Dave(me)- directing, camera animating, rendering, editing
Carlos- lead modeller, model animator, rigging, texturing and rendering
Soulheil- modeller, rendering
Juha- Modeller

Well at least its off to a start

true, it is a start.

though... to be honest, the modeling is the easiest part.

Seriously, you don't need to keep starting new threads.

God, I wish i was a car freak and could be arsed to spend lots of time on car models/renders. They look so cool! That's even a revoltingly amateurish render, but it still looks cool because its a car and its rendered!

"what more do you want"

i'm sure i could think of something

probably along the lines of "modelling" and "humvee free of charge"

Well since the models are based on real vehicles than yes but i will storyboard it before the vehicles are animated and before i do the camera animating

Cool.

skipping on storyboards can be a huge mistake.

Models look fine. It's an indie and it doesn't have to match pixar or ILM quality.
