| My 2010 portfolio works so far. |

Figured I would make a thread for my portfolio progress because there is never enough fished art shown on maxforums. :)
Is it ok to hotlink to the maxforums image gallery photos? If not I will take them down and put them on imageshack or something, but I'd rather not because I know that is slow for some people.
Anyway, here's two that I have made so far:
I will probably use this one as the cover for my portfolio.
And here's a Datsun 260z that I made. (That's me sitting inside) :)

Looking good mate =)
That car looks sweet! Dunno why I always mess it up when I try to make a car. Probably got 10 half completed cars, but i totally miss it when it comes to the details.
Might try a simple car sometime, just to actually finish one =P
Looking forward to see more work!

Thanks. :)
Haha, yeah, this one was half completed for a long time. Just make sure you save them, because someday you will get the crazy idea to stay up all night finishing one of them. Sometimes it's great to come back to them because they feel fresh again.
More will be posted, but probably not for a day or two. I have a lot more work to do, but I need to get this portfolio done soon so I can hand it in!

i like the images mate but the "Alex Wynn 2010 " is way to thick and not very natural for being produced with a airbrush i would personally have sprayed it like it was made using a card cutout with hardly any thickness at all with the odd splatter if you get me

I agree with dd one hundred percent; the thickness of the paint was the first thing that my eye picked up. The Datsun is fantastic. Very nice.

Both the images can be seen in his gallery.
Nice work by the way. The car is definitely the stronger of the images. On the airbrush I think you could work on getting some nice soft shifts of light into the background, perhaps lightening it up a little and work on the text as others have said.
The car image is looking real good but perhaps you could get a little more shine / contrast into the paint work. Good stuff. :)

Thanks for the comments guys. :)
Yeah, I guess the gallery changes the links of the pictures every now and then. I'll probably just update the post tomorrow with links to my gallery.
On the airbursh pic, I wasn't intending the words to look like they were airbrushed, but seeing as that's what people are thinking when they see it, I have done anotehr render with it stencil style. I'll update my gallery tomorrow.
I should have another render for you by then too. :) (That's assuming my computer hasn't caught fire or exploded from too much rendering while I am at work.)
