Multi angle spine ik chain
I usually use FK for spine and such but this rig has like 11 spine links so i figured it be easyer to slap an ik chain on it, the problem is ik chains by default seem to rotate the spine links in only one direction which is far below what most real spines can do so is there a way to change the angle the links are collapsing towards? (im not talking about swivel angle here that just rotates the whole chain without changing the inside angles)

Use spline IK.

Tried spline ik and it keeps messing up my model - sometimes the torso is upside down, other times its twisted etc
Edit: for whatever reason i got the ik chain in this time but its still buggy as hell and twists entire sections after any Z rotation anywhere

That's wierd. My experience with it (spline IK) is that you need to make the spline verts match your bone pivots as close as possible and the spline at 0 and 0 for interpolation, basically 'cos thats where it will place the helpers... if you try to rotate a helper that is not at a bone pivot... trouble :/
