move vertex on edit poly
Hi all i made this floor and i want to resize the vertex to the right and left like scaling on the x axis
but i want to do to all of them (vertices) like choosing each object and scale on local reference coordinate system ...
but how i do that when i have one big polygon surface like this one...

select 'freeform gizmo' from the quad menu in the UV editor
press and hold shift (to lock the axes) and alt (does the same to the other side) and move the verts

thought it was a uv problem not a modelling problem
not sure this can be done with one click with all of them- certainly with a line at a time it can

And that's why I like instance modelling.
If each similar rectangle is an "instance copy" you just need to edit one and they all edit.

Scale the edges in between the verts..

Not sure exactly what your trying to do, but something I use regularly is a copy paste vertex position script by Daniel Swahn I picked up a few years ago.
It simply copies a vertex position then you grab a bunch of other verts and can paste the X,Y,Z position accordingly, I use it rather than going through all the faff of setting up 2d snap.
May be useful....

Cant you just select the all the polygons in polygon subobject level, and then scale using the local coordinates? Should be very straightforward?

Scaling averages the verts, that script is a more accurate way of aligning them.
