Motion tracking caustics
show user profile  9krausec
I wanted to do a motion tracking exercise dealing with caustics... Would there be a way to apply caustic reflections (created by cg obects) onto the walls of an environment that is motion tracked?

Would I need to model the geometry of the evironment that is the environment that would be video taped?

here is an example pic of what I'm talking about.. -

Photobucket

Although Alex Roman's environment is all CG, I want to just have 3d objects in a motion tracked environment, but with the caustic relfections created by those objects reflecting on the real world environment.

(sorry if my explanation sucks).

any ideas? Thanks.
