Motion Builder anyone?
show user profile  Nanne
I posted this question over at the AREA a couple of days ago, but havn't got any response yet so I thought I'll as you guys. If you work a lot with Motion Builder or know someone who does, that has told you about it, I would like you to share.

I’m very curious what features Motion Builder offers that I don’t already have in 3ds Max with CAT? Is it worth it for me to spend the extra money on the 3ds Max Entertainment Creations Suit to get my hands on Motion Builder? If Max and Mudbox are the only softwares I’ll have use for then the Suit seems a bit expensive.

The only thing I’ve been able to figure out is that Motion Builder seems to be very good at handling and cleaning up motion capture data, but I rarely use that.

So, Motion Builder - what’s it’s coolest features? :)

Post at CGtalk. Autodesk monitors that forum, and ignores the AREA.

I'm not interested in Autodesk's opinion on the matter :) They, of course, would want me to pay for the Suit ;)

I'm interested in users opinions. And I'm not trying to figure out which software is best, that kind of discussion is pointless. But it's allways interesting to hear what features/tools of a software that people really enjoy working with :)

Personal opinions - not facts - is what I'm interested in.
