Monitor calibration
show user profile  Chris123643
I really need to push my boss into getting a colour calibration kit, i being the sole 3d artist in this small company such matters come way down the list, but after my last visuals were called too dark when they look good on my screen is just a kick in the teeth, i sit here tweaking the colours which is a waste of time if my monitor is not calibrated. Anyway, im waffling, what i would like to know is what is the best colour calibrator out there? i have heard some of you use the spyder, is the spyder express worth it? or should i really push for the spyder pro (or a different type)... your thoughts...

Think about getting a monitor wich supports adobe rgb mode.
Like that your colors will always be set with the right pantone settings.
@ work we have Dell 2709W monitors.
The color output works great for color reference working
