Modeling screw thread
show user profile  StevegeK
Hi guys,

I want to model this and print it using an Ultimaker. So I want to model it in one part without models intersecting. Also, I want this to become functional. How would you guys do this? Thanks in advance!

I'd use this script:

In case you want to go the lazy way...

I'm a bit hungover, hence the laziness, sorry :(

Cheers,

Still modeling some parts of my shock absorber, but the adjuster is printed already. Hope it's actually working but I do think so! :)

kiko: Now you made me imagine you sitting in front of the computer with a straight poker face while your body starts jiggling a bit on its own.

i thought you were just screwing around.

Also.... off topic a bit.. looking at the blue part you have sitting there, 6 and 7 are backwords. Sorry, but it is my one OCD trait. Things being in order like that.

Haha yeah, I actually have to modify that blue part and reprint it. I'll put it in order for ya. (and for me, how could I not notice it myself!?)
