Modeling curve with different heights
show user profile  LeonardoDanielll
Hi guys, I have a doubt on which is the easiest way to make the cap of the curve go from 1 height to another height.

For example the right side at 1 mts height and the left one on 2 mts and all the middle vertices flow properly. Just as the pink plane is going. Bec of the curve the boolean doesnt work properly.

Okay, I have found loft as an option. Is there any other way?

Pretty simple. Select the top vertices. Apply a 2x2 FFD modifier. Select the side you want dropped down, and drag the handles of the FFD 2x2 down. Done.

"Bec of the curve the boolean doesnt work properly."

Don't blame the curve, the curve did nothing wrong.

..Slice ? ...just slice and cap it.

Slightly OT: Is there a way to angle-snap quick slice? That would be pretty useful.

I use this from time to time, not exactly angle snap, but gives you some control.

..bit yeah, lack of snap on slice is a glaring anomaly.

Your welcome sweetie.

..thank you...I just discovered this method.

It's been requested in the black hole of development:

Nice method, make a spline circle set it's interpolation to 1, centre it on your object and snap away.

Should easily be scriptable for those with the skills.
