model arch built in autocad comes into max as a rough segmented arch
can anyone tell me how to smooth out an arch built in autocad an inported into max.
thanks for any help you can give

a friend of mine never touched 3Dsmax but wanted to import his autocad file in 3dsMax and model it.
I made him a Videotutorial, maybe it will be helpful for you

When you go into Max and go to file -> import and pick your file you need to change the setting for
"Maximum surface deviation for 3D solids to .1 or below. This setting is in the popup box that appears after you select your file. It is under the "Geometry options" area of the Geometry tab. Should be hard to miss. Hope this helps.
