Cool, will this get any further?

What kind of effect are you trying to achive? It doesn't really look like Milky Way, well ,resembles it, but it's hardly accurate. And it's not even close to be photo realistic.
The background is overly low res, at 0:07 I can see that is not even tiled, and it doesn't feels like it's part of the "Space". Can't feel neither the size and the depth of the universe. And probably that was your goal.

The Lens Flares acting strangely at 0:03.
At 0:07 the galactic core looks like a sun. Overly colorful, or at least misses transition, if you are shooting for cartoonish style.

The other "fragment" I bet are suns/solar systems that are between galaxies. Knowing your past, I'm pretty surprised that you did a research on this. Even Though, they are utterly big. Also I'm surprised, that now your Milky Way got only two arms, and not 10+ as the last time.
At 0:01 The Red "spheres/suns/whatever" feels totally off the place, and the background is wrong too again.
I can see as these Spheres are randomly arranged in a certain radius, after that there's a void until that low res- nontiled background.

I suggest you to look into Spacescape :http://alexcpeterson.com/spacescape/
and CubeMapGen :http://developer.amd.com/tools-and-sdks/archive/legacy-cpu-gpu-tools/cubemapgen/
to fix the background. Or someone might know about a better tool. Or just get a more hires picture, and don't turn the camera towards those areas, so you don't break immersion.

For those other objects, you might love to spread them in higher radius, also make them less dense.

Maybe a mesh for the galaxy would work better, at least at some parts with tons of layers and transparency maps, than add some particles to the edge, or whatever you wish to use. But that's up to you.
Or why don't you use Krakatoa?

I can't believe I'm saying this. But I would appreciate a f*cking reply from you once.

Why are you posting this up there as WIP thread if you do not want help ?? And if you think you don't need any help'n'critique and you got everything 100% right, and all you are shooting for is fame, tan you are totally wrong.

I can see why no one else did replied. They know, that they effort to communicate with you will be neglected. Thus they don't give a single f*** anymore.

It's time for you to open your eyes, and I don't care if I'm younger from you like 10+ years. But you should just grow up and accept and change your point of view as a gratitude for all those who did wrote you a c'n'c, now in the past and in the future !!!

@ Silard, you are 100% right. Some people like and accept critism, and some people like to only hear praise. Cbflex likes praise, hence why the milky way video is.... this.
