How to make mentalray contours not be affected by light/shadow?
show user profile  dnoparker
I created a mentalray map on my model so I can add contour lines for cell shading. It seems that when I render, the contour lines that sit inside a shadow disappear. Leaving my model looking half 'drawn'
(Can you explain in laymans terms, I am new to 3DS Max)

Hopefully this image will help
