mental ray shadows
Ok, here's another one i just cant figure out. I've got the actual scene at school so i replicated the problem.
In my actual scene i created the following in a isolated selection:
The lamppost exists out of 2 objects, the actual lamppost and the glass. Inside the lamppost there's an omni with mental ray shadow map, transparent shadows enabled, inverse square decay.I excluded the glass object from shadows and illumination. The other settings of the omni are default.
Everything goes fine, but when i leave the isolated selection, the rectangular piece of the shadow (caused by the bottom of the top piece of lamppost) disappears.
And yes i've tried to set the material of the lamppost to standard and 2-sided...
