I don't get tablets, they're too large to fit in your pocket, they're touch screen (which is a feature I do not understand why anyone would want), they make anyone using them just look a bit stupid, especially when they're using one to take photos.

Anyway... windows surface 4.... works on windows 10 (NSA friendly operating system). THINNEST tablet ever (easier to break). And I stopped the video Krause linked there.

Yeah, I know, I'm just a stick in the mud, but I don't believe 10 or 20 years from now people won't be looking back and laughing at the people who bought tablets, they'd just be, "What is this? A computer for ants!"

I think the surface pro series bleeds more so into laptop/tablet hybrid herfst.

I'm all down for the surface pro, it looks like a great device, BUT... I will always be able to build a power house of a computer for cheaper when looking at the power to price ratio.

Is a workstation portable, no... but will I be working on 3D while picnic-ing with the girlfriend? God I hope not. It'd be nice to have, but I wouldn't be able to justify the price tag on it as it would always act as a secondary computer.

Nice animation. My views on the product haven't changed though, it's just not something that interests me in the slightest.

Liking it ... probably not as powerful as my macbook pro though (4 cores vs 2 cores)

Can't really disclose what I'm at Microsoft for, it's changing anyway.

I can say that I did not work on that video but I can say that that laptop is a great piece of tech and will be replacing my MBP

I think once people see what it's like using an "ultimate", it's going to be hard going back.

This is the way things should be in computing. Dynamic, multi-functional and powerful.

I would guess that there's plans for largers models but this is def a game changer.

Oh I agree 100%, it's just too small to work on, currently novelty value only.

He already said, the screen size.

But regarding what you said about this being the ultimate, dynamic and stuff... I completely disagree. The ultimate computer is a pc that you have at home. The ultimate phone is a phone. The ultimate tablet is some holographic thing that you have on your arm that hasn't been invented yet... a tablet is just a midway technology much like the brick phone.
