Maya LT?
show user profile  Kajico
Hey gents, long time no talk. I want to get back to doing 3d work now that I actually have a less stressful work life. I have a dated copy of Max (9, no not 2009) and with Softimage being axed I was trying to look into more affordable options. I have an up to date version of Lightwave but I want to get back to specifically doing 3D content for game engines and Lightwave does not have a good way of baking normal maps.

Has anybody tried Maya LT? Any thoughts on it? I know this is a Max forum but I know several of you also have to use Maya from time to time.

tbh, the practical difference between max 9 and 2015 is minimal
