Maxscript Source Control

Anybody know any good production max scripting source control applications?

my boss is trying to get me to use fog creek but it seems like a huuuuuge pain in the arse and a major inconvenience.

never used fog creek but had a quick look & it's based on mecurial.

I'm using mercurial at the moment. It does the job but can be slow.

Will be moving our stuff to git soon as it seems the best of what's out there.

mercurial or git are the two to choose between.
both are better than subversion which is the other commonly used source control solution.

the tortoise interface lets you check in/merge/diff & all the standard source control stuff direct from the windows explorer interface.

tortoise hg (mercurial) ships with kdiff3 which is crap.
tortoise git ships with tortoisemerge which is much better.

you can configure other tools but it's nice if it 'just works' out of the box.
