Maxscript - Raytrace
I know you can turn off the Raytrace message box by switching renderer to Scanline > Raytracer >
Unenable "Show Messages"
I would like to put this in a quick script as switching renderer loses vfb settings and render settings. I can do a workaround and save these out but Id rather just quick drag and drop to remove this setting. If anyone knows how Id buy you a smoke and a pancake!
Is there a way MacroRecorder can pick menu items up out of curiosity?

I found this in the manual:
Flow is the Raytrace engine used for Radiosity and Shadows. It is used internally. There is no access from MAXScript.
No properties or methods exposed.
So I'm guessing that it can't be done. However, Show Messages is off by default for me in Max 2016, and I have never gotten that message. When is it happening?

every time one of our staff use a previous material library somehow it creeps into the renders. Simple enough to switch off manually but you need to save your render settings out first and its difficult to manage accross multiple artists, Id like a script that runs at render time.
Its ok for now, showmessages = false works... but stops ALL messages from appearing lol...
