Maxscript: check if bitmap has an alpha channel
show user profile  3joez
Does maxscript have a function to know wether a bitmap has an alpha channel or not?

Never mind. I've found it:

$.material.diffuseMap.bitmap.hasAlpha

Ok let me hijack my own post, now I have another problem.

I want to compare pixel values from an image's alpha channel(so that if they are all white I execute an action). I can't seem to access the alpha channel data with getpixels openbitmap or whatever.

Is that even possible?
