Here you go mate.
Cleverly, it doesn't appear in your subs. Good old autoderp.
It breaks a few things. Don't install if you are running an XP64 system, or if you use the Next Limit render doodad.

Should be ok on Win 7. Have a look in the PDF and see if it affects anythign that you are likely to need.

Apparently Max 2014 would run on XP64, but it won't work after the update. Also the Next Limit Renderkit has been reported as broken after this update.
This is all I've seen other than the standard few people with install problems.

I'm still scared.
What if it won't let me output 8-bit GIF files after the update?.....Not sure I can risk it.

Damnit, Jim. I can't see you in limbo like this. I'm going to install that damned service pack in the morning and get you an answer.
If it can't output 8-bit GIF files any more, I'm switching to another damned package.

well, I just installed SP1
9 minutes - "Computing space requirements"
3 minutes - "Computing spadce requirements"
11 minutes - "Validating install"
3 minutes - "Copying new files
26 minutes of my life to install a 100mb patch. Awesome.
And there is bad news.... There is no GIF or 8-bit support, Jim.
I'm going back to Wings 3D. At least it can output GIF files. Autodesk amateurs.

Yeah why do the patches take so long to integrate into the system? I can't think of any other program I have where updates take so long to install.
