Material library references

Hi, is it possible to have a material library file assigned in multiple max files and if i alter the material in the matlib the files themselves will update next time theyre opened?

Yeah you can - Once your materials are just how you like them save a custom material library. That library can be opened and manipulated for any scene you want. So long as you save the library each time you make a change it will be updated for every scene you load it into. You can also set your scene to load a default material library when loading.
