How to make material highlights have the same shape like light source's?
show user profile  Artie
Every time i get rounded highlights even if i use rectangle light sources. How can i handle that? Any help will be appreciated.

use proper reflections instead of relying on material highlights.
material higlights will always be round spots, the specularity settings will just change the size/sharpness of the spot.

for proper "highligts" you will need an object to reflect.. Like those white canvases that you see in proper photo shoots.

Terribly boring signature.

Ok, thanks - i'm gonna use this technique from now on. Also wanted to ask if you know how to exclude an object from reflections/refractions of the second one but appear in reflections of the third at the same time - kind of a riddle, isn't it? :)
