are you actually complaining about new people joining the forums, thus furthering the need for such a site? inevitably giving us a reason to exist if nothing else then just to plain old flame them to bits and peices for their amature opions and questions?

I did some google optimisations a while back, but in the end the results of that were not substantial. So i don't really have an explanation.
edit: i'm starting to think maybe the registration process was broken for a while on the previous server?

Most of what i know are things i picked up here and there. If you have a website that you want optimise, i can take a look if you want.
There are no miracle-tricks though. Google is too smart for that.

if you google on "3d studio max forum", the first hit is maxforums.
if you google on "3d studio forum", the first hit is maxforums.
if you google on "3d forum", maxforums ends up on page 6.

I recommend you try Google Analytics, gives loads of good info about where visitors arrive live, refer from and keywords used etc.
