making a fillet on a box in max
show user profile  jp1979
This is one thing that I can never sort out.... I use solidworks to model up objects but have now started to draw objects up in max.....

All I want to do is fillet a corner which in Solidworks is the most simple thing..... but when you have a object in poly format I cant find a way to fillet one corner to a precise measurement???

cheers in advance

you could make a filleted box and square up the unwanted fillets

Or, again with the chamfer tool:

And then you can apply smoothing groups, to blend the faces smoothing.
