Make objects parallel
show user profile  tom_curitiba

looks like easy but didnt manage yet how :-)
I tried like this process on the picture underneath but could not at the end rotate/snap the 2 vertices together..
I had lock the rotation on the Z axis by pressing F7 but couldnt catch the vertex of the other object..
How do u do usually if u want to precisely make 2 objects parallel? is it possible to avoid a script?

thanks :)

If the pivot axis of the target mesh is aligned with the object you can just use "align" and check the orientation boxes...Otherwise there is a "normal align" tool (same button, just in the dropdown list)

-> it worked :
1) I « picked » the ref.coordinate system to the object so that the gizmo is aligned with the object and not with the world coord.
2) I aligned « orientation local » to the other object
thanks :)

PS: I also tried the "normal align", worked also very well
