How to make lofted curve segments uniform width
show user profile  Weston
I'm lofting a simple 2 point spline curve with just a flat line as the 'shape'. I'm ending up with a 2D curve, which is what I want, but the segments are not uniform width. I can't seem to find a way to set the resulting segments to a uniform width.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Splines have some nice modifiers of their own. Maybe try applying an extrude modifier
to the spline instead of lofting it.
EDIT_ You should get uniform segmants too.

That didn't work, but in the process I discovered a modifier called 'normalize spline'...which did just what I needed.

So thanks!
