Out of interest, is that camera 'inside' the room? I find i need to place cameras out of the actual room to get the right angle/perspective. I asked a question about it here, but no one answered. :(

Well, the camera is inside the room but I extended the room towards the camera so it sat inside. Not sure why I just didn't make that wall invisible to camera. I think I'll try that actually as maybe that might help with the artifacts if the room is smaller. The settings were reasonably high.

I'll give that a go tomorrow.

Thanks albongino & del3d. I'll post up again if I get some improvement on the artifacts

Cheers albongino, thats what i do too.

Rocco, that will probably give you a slightly different lighting, should work well.

I looked at the render today again and like it a lot. It's one of the more pleasing renders I've seen recently. Very natural.

yes it's a great image.

Did you put a bump on the records? seem a bit flat to me.

Thanks a lot for the kind words chaps!

Davious, I tried upping the bump on the records but it didn't do a lot. I used a low res image instead of using a photo of the existing records. That's my problem I reckon.

I've done another render with the camera outside the room. I lowered the samples & bounces and it still put more light in the room so it did make a fair bit of difference.
