Hey guys. So after a fairly unmotivated few weeks i have managed to get some decent time into making my website and also do a little bit of modeling.
Starting a simple but hopefully high standard little radio

Not enough segments on some of cylinders and the image is really blurry. Also that is one chunky handle.

But it does look like a radio! Good start.

Hey i am just heading out for a valentines meal :) Yeh i will try and post some wires later or tommorow. Yeh i think a few of my cylinders need more segments and also the handle itself is a work in progress, dont take it as done :P

Ok heres my first attempt of rendering in wireframe. Hope this i the right way to do it :)

Added more segments to the handle cylinders and am in the process of modeling a decent handle :)

Edit: just noticed its stilla bit blurry, not sure if its the JPG i am saving it as or something within max. Rendering with Mental ray with no lights atm

Yeh i am aiming fairly low poly, and sometime i might come back to it and make it high poly at a later date.

Then I think there are too many segments in those cylinders, zee probably thought it was supposed to be high poly, as did I.

That line that runs over the whole main body box is unneeded, doesn't contribute to the shape at all.

The tops of the cylinders are many sided polygons, you should probably keep that 4 or 3 sided, it's generally a good practice even though you don't intend to smooth it, as many real time engines will reconnect the hidden edges themselves, and might not get it right. Or they just don't cope with n-gons very well.
