someone sent me a file and i wanna kno is there a way to see what objects are following the other (Select and Link)

double click the object and it will select what objects are linked to it.

or open the select by list window and activate the parent tree or whateve4r its called then the objects children will be directly below and inset to their parents

You can also select all the objects and in the Display panel > Link Display rollout check the Display Links option.
Under Customize > Preferences > Viewport, you can choose to display the links as shapes or lines.

I was unaware that you could do that. I have always used the schematic scene view. Once again I learn something new. Thanks.
