line draw 2.5 snap

hello all.
i make lines over 2d plan in 3dsmax on snap 2.5 but still the line get heights? and not on the same level what can be the reason for that?

You haven't enabled axis snapping, maybe. Check the options tab for Grid and Snap Settings.

The settings are fine, but maybe in the snaps tab you could turn on vertex and turn off endpoint and midpoint.

IMO it's user error, rather than snaps being wrong. Try and grab only one or two axis when you snap, then you can't really go wrong.
