Kitchen finals
show user profile  inxa
Hello Everyone,

Here is the final render of the kitchen I was working on

Around 5-6 days, 1 - 2 hours of work everyday. I know it's a bit over stretched schedule. Makes my brain little foggy these less work days :S

Here is the link to the wip. You will have to scroll down a bit.

If I could have reduced some noise at some places I would have been more happier. Overall am very happy with the render.

Hope you all like it.

Excellent, as usual, except for that thing on the wall.

Are the handles on the cupboards & drawers perhaps a little small ?

Right hand side appliance closest to the camera needs a bit more detail - it still looks CG.

Very nice work - one of your best inxa.

Adding some decent artwork on the wall and all the props on the bench and shelves really helps set a warm friendly atmosphere.

Well done.

Nice! very nice!

on the picky side: I agree on the stove details, it looks kind of flat, but it's a hard angle for it not to,

the tall olive containers on the shelves should go in the fridge,

and I would have added a notch more of reflection to the floor,

otherwise, great job.. !!

Hello Everyone,

Nik - Thank you :)

advance - Which appliance

del3d - :)

Dub - Thanks, even I feel it's something different and has a warm feeling. Artwork idea - Deepa.

gogodr - Cheers

Albongino - The floor has good amount of reflection, if I would have kept it more, it would feel very slippery. Also, when there is not much light and material to reflect I personally don't think you would notice reflection. Hey I like to olive to be outside ;)

Mashed - Thanks.

Thanks everyone for replying. Glad you all like it.

> which appliance.

The silver one closest to the camera with the white button contols. A microwave ? It's detailed enough to see it's got all those controls, but not detailed enough to have any idea what they do, or to figure out what the thing actually is.

Picture on the wall, especially something non-cg is a good idea. Just not that one (my opinion). Anything that could have been done by a two year old is not worth hanging anywhere, unless it was done by your two year old. "modern art" ? Dub, please. There's no style, no form. That said, I suppose there's no wrong/right when it comes to art. it simply comes down to what you like.

agreed. adding artwork is a personal choice. personally, i like the pic. the colours and contrasts nicely with the rest of the room. it's the kind of art style i like to put in my cg (even though i'd never hang it on the walls in my own home)

Really nice render as usual fella!

My only crit would be that the extractor over the hob looks way too low. If I stood at that hob I would be looking straight at the top of the extractor, but other than that - great as usual. Today is a gift, and tomorrow is not a promise, so love life!
