Jing issue

It ran ok for a while but at one point it became very jittery. Like skipping frames or freezing.
I thought it was because of my comp's low specs but even entering text in notepad with nothing else running doesn't give me a smooth capture anymore.

I couldn't find anything related in the settings or on their faq. Does someone know what's doing this? Is it my system?

you can always check the task manager under the "performance" or "processes" tab to see if you have anything stealing your megahurtz....

ctrl+shift+esc is a quick shortcut..

Terribly boring signature.

With max set to about a fourth of the screen, rotating a cube in the viewport uses 20-25% of the CPU. If I record it, it jumps to a healthy 100%, Jing eating up the remaining 75-80%.
RAM is fine, however.

Does that mean that Jing needs a lot more power to capture the action (with a crappy result) than max to update a viewport?
What puzzles me is that it was fine for several months.

I experienced the same. Since they went "pro" normal jing is suddenly useless in 90% of the cases.

Shame :(

I though it occured after one of their updates but wasn't sure. Shame indeed.
Thanks 3dioot.
