Jagged Edge in viewport

Hi
I am using Max 2017 for the first time with no lights plane simple scene... but why do I get a jagged edge in my shadow never had problem with 2015 /2016 any solution.

Its just the viewport - get used to it in 3dsmax it gets worse every update.

if your OCD takes over you can do this:

On the righthand side of the Photobucket page where it lists 'Photo Hosting Links', copy/ paste the 'direct' link and make sure 'Convert to HTML' is on in your forum message window
