is there a better way of doing this?
I have this charachter skinned with physique and i have a prop that i attatch using skin wrap. I found that i cannot convert the skin wrap to a skin modifier since the character, the base object is skinned using physique. and i found though it shows accurately on viewport, when i hit render, the skin wrapped object moves to its original non wrapped state. so as a solution, i have a point cache on top of skin wrap and using it i saved the vertex positions as an xml. now the problem is solved. but i like to know if there is a better solution than this. cause every time i make a change, i have to cache it.. thanks.

Not sure, I kept trying to read your message but was distracted by the most annoying sig in the history of sigs.

Why not just make a controller for the prop, and link it's parent to whatever bone/controller of the character it's supposed to be attached to?

@herfst1 xD agree and fixed! :P
the character itself is deforming. actually these are gladiator type shoes that i try to wrap to the character.

Interestingly, everytime someone uses an animated gif sig, a baby seal gets clubbed to death.
