iOS 3d model viewer?
show user profile  ccampbell
Anybody know of a browser based 3d model viewer that works on an ipad or iphone? it would fantastic if i could get something like daves p3d example here from a few day's ago.

Unfortunately that doesn't seem to work. I know there are tons of app based viewers but I need something that can either be launched from a browser or embedded into the page. Just the ability to rotate the model would be a good start. Maybe there is a java script example i could work with?

There's a semi-old school method you could adopt:

Just follow this:

It supposedly works on mobile devices (the dragging, I mean... of course images are going to work)

It is a bit on the heavy side though.

Great call Dave thanks a lot. It does actually work on the iPad and iPhone. Way to think of using the 1990's version of "Explore my hotel room before paying for it" option haha. I will need more control in the future like zoom/wire/shaded etc... but for now as a proof of concept this should do OK.

Anybody else that has any idea's would be greatly appreciated. I will be trying anything and everything I come across.
