Intel's HD graphics and 3ds

Hey, probably already can assume that it won't work very smoothly, but I figured i would ask to make sure.

Would Intel's integrated HD Graphics 4000 with 4 gigs of ddr3 and a 3.0 dual core i7 suffice to run 3ds max at a decent smoothness (viewport and all)?

No dedicated graphics card or anything... Would that work, or most likely not?

Edit: sorry wrong section. Should be a question.

if it's fully dx9 compatible, it'll run.

as for the performance, look it up.

my friend had to run max off 2500k's graphics for a while, anything over 1k poly's got stuttery and unusable for my taste but he did insist on having nitrous on...

See, this is where I get confused. I sort of figured that intel HD graphics would make 3ds's viewport lag, but what is throwing me off is this video of the slate (not going to be getting the slate anymore, looking at the new upcoming Asus Zenbook with Ivy Bridge).

If you look at the video, it seems that the Intel HD handles it very well with a scene of 1mil polys+ so that's why I figured I'd ask on the forum if anyone I knew here had any experience in with Intel HD graphics (I know I have none).

Here is the video, watch the performance-
