improving a city scene

ok ive made a few skyscrapers, just a box with the textures applied so far and ive got to make the rooftops more interesting but id like advice on making a city scene

um.....maybe post what you;ve done so far?

You're kind of asking a really obvious, yet ambigous question?

Youve "got some boxes with building textures on them?" and you want advice on how to do the rest?

ummm...

Add more buildings.
Texture them with realistic textures.
Add boxes, conduits, compressors and antennaes to the roof's
Add roads
Add cars
Add street signs, lamps, mailboxes, phonebooths.
Add storefronts with signs.
Add traffic lights
Add sky.

....get the idea?

not done a city before but add fog to the distant buildings... looks good on the max design 2009 when it boots.
