Images with no light data

I need to drop in a live action sequence onto a plane in one of my scenes. How would I have my plane not accept any light data?
Thanks for any help.

Can turn the material's self-illumination up to 100% that contains the live action

In addition to self-illumination, you'll probably also want to exclude the plane from receiving light and casting shadows, on the light's options.

EDIT: And maybe make it so it can't receive shadows, in the object's own properties. And maybe turn off some other things... these are really just rendering optimizations though, so it doesn't have to think as much and might render faster, depending on the complexity of your scene.

I was having trouble with this the other day, I found a way around it though its slightly unorthodox. I couldn't get the image to self illuminate without it washing out, So i set the material to black, and used the image to self illuminate.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Self-illumination worked.

And just in general, do you all work with your Global Lighting (in the Environment and Effects window) with Ambient set to Black and Tint set to White ?
