Image strobing

Can anyone tell me why the lights on my enterprise are strobing? It's something to do with the fields of frames but I don't know how to correct it?

do the individual rendered frames look like that, or just the final composed animation?

It's just the lights actually. A bit like the distortion you get with Video fields. They are quite small and thin but as it's not animated in fields so that can't be the reason. The individual frames are clean.

well if the frames themselves are fine then I cant really help, I thought it might have been anti-aliasing. But aside from that, putting a video on youtube and asking for advice on the quality is probably the worst place you can put it, youtube rapes the quality so much. try uploading the video file to divshare.com then we can see it in its original quality and maybe give better advice :)

yup, if the individual frames are fine i'd plump for shite video compression. it doesn't look very good as it is, and as Grotes says, youtube shags your anim up. it's not meant for refined viewing :)
