I'll be more than happy to get your opinion on this...

This is the fourth bike I've made, just noticed that it's missing a windshield and the seat is overlapping the frame...

Reminds me a lot of my renders when I discovered how to make objects reflect.
Its good you post your work, but be ready to get some tough criticism from the guys and girls around here it will help you a lot.

I'm not an expert in something that is more advanced than a bicycle so i won't comment on concept or shapes but the materials need improving. The entire thing looks like made out of plastic, just making it reflect the gray plane on which its sitting on won't get you realism (I assume that's what you're after).
You will get even more help if you post wire frames, of the whole thing and certain parts of it so we can see the model as well.
Look into material tutorials, Mental Ray + Arch and Design materials are a must if you are after realism.

Agree with Paunescudanutz. The tires were the first thing my eye jumped to. Give them some subtle noise (or just use arch and design rubber). But the model is nicely detailed.

Thanks for your comments, I'll take a better look at the materials as soon as I can. As for the realism, I don't want to kill my computer with a realistic background. Maybe I could photoshop one though.

the thing with the realistic reflections, they come from the environment, you don't have to model an actual environment around your model just to render it nicely, you can use HDRI's

those body panels in yellow could use some love. those are some odd subdivisions.

Odd subdivisons?

Also, I don't seem to able to get the HDRi to work, it's always too dark and no shine at all, even though I tried three tutorials and bluesummers' video as well :(

i think he meant these:

Edit: watch that tutorial carefully, make sure you don't miss any steps, and make sure to enable the Use Map in the Environment so that max uses the HDRI instead of the color.

I did everything by the tut, no dice.

Those "odd subdivisions" are intentionally made.

That isn't meant to be this is it?

I only had a quick look but this is probably the closest motorcycle tutorial i found and there are some major differences in your model.

EDIT: Oops, I look like an idiot. Teach me for skim reading.....

No, I did not use any reference for my model. It's 100% my own mind's creation.

EDIT: But I did use the front mask shape from my BMW model, modified it a bit tho.

Some parts have isoline display on, ask for more renders.

I am redoing the front axle and brake caliber hold.

much better in the mesh, still a bit wobbly in the creases but going in the right direction.
