surprisingly, illustrator has some cool tools i didn't know of like symbol spraying and adjusting in a particle cloudlike way, mesh gradients
only the way you control lines (its very basic funtion) is a kick in the groin
i can't for the love of things find how the break up a bezier curve point into bezier corner point so i can control only one side of the curve

bah..my illustrator won't open. Its either you hold the shift, ctrl or alt key down when you grab the handle. I can't remember which offhand
