How to make this more grosser-er

suggestions I'd like to implement:


- I'm trying to make this dood look really gross, but im at that stage of the model where i get writers block

I found this reference that i think looks pretty gross

turns out i dont know how i would go about doing this.. time? patience and time? Id like the base of the character to look like this at least, the stretch gooey bits too perhaps

any ideas on how to efficiently make this type of flesh or any other ideas on gross-ifying this guy up?

First of all I think his muscles are too big. Make him skinny and misshaped. Also get rid of the symmetry modifier or change one of the sides so it doesn't look symmetrical.
You may get some inspiration from movie The Thing.

been busy on this... ended up starting on a skeleton model since it will be such a high utilized asset in the game

after getting to a share-able point on the skeleton I came back to this guy.. here's the new version

any other ideas are very much welcome, the last round really helped this guy take shape

I need to figure out how to make the volume at the bottom look/feel like a slimey mass of rotten hate

Looking better. Cut away under his armpits, also maybe raise his ribcage, it looks like it's sagging too low.

As for making it grosser: Pose him seductively, and put a wig and some lipstick on him. Maybe also a bra (think Bruce Jennar).

side view since its gonna be a side scroller

I don't think I mentioned what this guy is supposed to be.. so, he's our take on the classic slime monster in any rpg... when you encounter him, all you'll see is the mass at the bottom, and when he gets close enough, the skeleton pops out and attacks - the player cannot damage him unless the skeleton is visible or you use explosives

tomorrow I'm going to sculpt in some rotten fleshy sections... this paint job is temporary. Ill end up doing the final detailed texturing in substance or quixel 2, not sure yet
