how often or easy is it to use more then 4gb of vram?

Any ideas on what sort of scenes use more then 4gb of vram? I don't care about 4k gaming but still would like to produce 4k renders

Lots of 4K textures will eat ram. Moreso, working on a 4K PS file will grind everything to a halt.

As for modelling... as long as you don't have a million separate objects max will run fine(ish).

If you need to optimise use proxies.

My last project ate 16 gb of RAM and 40 Gb of virtual memory to simply load a scene.

yes just gpu im talking about, lets just say if I was to do some quality interior renders is it possible to exceed 4gb of gpu memory pretty easy?
