how do I turn off the cage?
show user profile  Davious
working on a e-poly with a turbosmooth over it (isoline display on ) I want to toggle end result and just see the smoothed poly, but my cage still shows. Is there a hotkey for switching it off? I'm following this tuthttp://digitalapprentice.net/Community/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=68&Itemid=160

and he dont get a cage in his end result.

many thanks in advance.

thanks for the quick reply. Yes, that does work, F4 will turn off my edges within sub-selection anyway. I'm just wondering if there is a way of hiding the cage without exiting sub-object mode :)

look down the modify panel when in e-poly, the 'use cage' tick box is there about half way down. I think its just below the hide selected, unhide all buttons

Actually, more like granite, kid ;)

Space invaders, pac man, Pink Panther pinball machine,... you don't know what you missed (I know a place they still have that last one up and running, with the mechanical scoring digits).
