I allways liked the russian "let's see how large we can make it" approach to engineering.

and a plane:

Surely that would just be noisey?

Now someone make a joke about having a sea view.

So, they are flying in a few months and all they have is a few renders? hmmm.

Direct link for the lazy ...

Not exactly environmentally friendly.

You don't put the hotel in the helicopter, you get the chopper to the hotel, duh ...

There's no way in hell that thing will fly, doesn't have enough wingspan to create lift from the jet engines, and the rotors are uselessly small.

Thoes rotors look like they're taken from the chinnook and mounted on something 5 times the size and weight, then lets just slap on some boeing jet engines and that should fix all the problems.

Just look at the massive rotors on the russian ones.

Now that is a dumb idea. Won't happen.
It would be nice, on the other hand, a flying hotel. Helium based.

Cheers,

Manolo

Floating hotel would be better, not just for peoples safety, but also for the environment.

Imagine this flying for a week.. Ouch.. Global warming.

haha, if it had to fly for a week you'd need a constant hook up to an air refueling plane.

Wonder what that flight test their planning is, i'm thinkings its either just the modfied russian chopper which is basicly stock with a hotelicopter sticker on it, or a scale model made from striped down helicopter toys and lego. :D

Have a nice relaxing massage, sauna and sleep in the hotel... with four jet engines at operating speed just outside the window. It sounds totally relaxing. Not.

This has to be an early April fool.
