I model this Iron Man and now i want to rig it so i can give a pose for a final render..
I model some characters but never try to rig them so this is the first time..
Any good tutorial on the internet how to rig it and give a pose???i found some but i have some difficulties with Biped and i stuck ..Im using 3dsMax 2010..

the only thing you need here is a proper hyrarchy and good placement of your pivot points
put the pivots where you want to bend things (beginning or end of the part mostly) and link the childs to their parents
then you can pose, render

first of all: stay away from bipeds!
build your own bones, it´s really easy, believe me.

Uliseei i finish you tutorial you ok but went i apply the same things to my models doesnt work..
For example when i link with the IK solve the shoe with the hips everything flying around and nothing is correct..Maybe its because there many objects together??should i attach everything together???is the modelling bad and i cannot rig??

What is wrong with biped!? After finding rigging to be a nightmare I upgraded to 3dmax7
just to use biped. I have not used it yet, but intended for it to spare me having to suffer through
rigging again.

Im understand many thing about the Biped(i will use Biped)..
Now i need to start using the skin modifier and i need some practise..
but really which is best skin or physique??whats the diference??
