please help: poles picker disappeared!
show user profile  brab
hey guys!
i'm new here, and new with 3d max. hope someone would know what's wrong.. the problem is this, from some reason my poles picker disapeared. that means that what ever action i wanna make on any object on my scene (scale/ move/ rotate/ etc.), i can't pick the poles (x/y/z) i want it to work on, and must work on all 3 poles at the same time. what should i do?

If it's a uniform scale issue...

Quote Garp:
"Look at the icon for the scale tool, it has a small triangle at its bottom-right corner. Icons like that are fly-outs. If you click and hold on them, other options appear.

Also note that if a hotkey is linked to the action (like R is for scale), hitting it repeatedly cycles through the options. You've hit R a couple of times ;)"

Yup, that sounds more likely, having re-read his description. Apologies for leaping to conclusions!

Having read the post 3 times, I think your answer was correct, Nik.
